Carolina Diabetes And Endocrine Clinics recently celebrated their first year anniversary in Monroe on October 30th 2005. We are grateful to our patient population, our referral physician base and our dedicated staff. We hope to continue to provide the much needed diabetic and endocrine Awareness, Education And Clinical Expertise In The Union County.

DIABETES FAIR

In recognition of the Diabetes Awareness Month, Carolina Diabetes And Endocrine Clinics in association with the Diabetes Center At CMC- Union held the first annual Diabetes Fair In Union County. This was held On November 5th 2005 at the out patient pavilion of the CMC – Union Hospital. The theme of the fair was “OBESITY AND THE DIABETIC EPIDERMIC.” It Featured keynote Lectures on the theme and breakout sessions on diabetic complications and management. There were also displays from our sponsors as well as multiple door prizes. The Grand prize of a treadmill was won by a well deserving attendee at a draw at the end of the fair. Over 200 people attended the fair. We hope to make this a yearly event on the first Saturday in November. We are already working on the next fair which is scheduled for November 2nd 2006. We will like to thank everyone who had contributed to making the fair a great success.
